Jeelola is a small village of 1176 hectares in Amet Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Jeelola depends on AMET, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 3.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Jeelola is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Jeelola's pin code is 313330[4], and village code is 02987800. The area of Jeelola is segregated as 68 hectares irrigated area, 195 hectares unirrigated, the 526.68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 386 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Jeelola is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2038 and has total administration over 402 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Jeelola has 273 children, 139 boys and 134 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 388 (19.04%) males constitute 207 (10.16%) of the population and females 181 (8.88%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 90 (4.42%) males constitute 47 (2.31%) of the population and females 43 (2.11%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1000 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 573 male, 427 female with 369 (36.9%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 288 males and 81 females. 88 males and 33 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 12 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 631 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of AMET and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
