Kotri is a small village of 3029 hectares in Kolayat Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kotri depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kotri is also near by One lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Kotri's pin code is 334302[4], and village code is 00537700. The area of Kotri is segregated as 2583 hectares unirrigated, the 158.77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 287 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Kotri has One post office (Kotri B.O) and Ten public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kotri has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kotri is a census village in the district of Bikaner, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2823 and has total administration over 465 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Kotri has 503 children, 260 boys and 243 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 863 (30.57%) males constitute 456 (16.15%) of the population and females 407 (14.42%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 1 (0.04%) males constitute 1 (0.04%) of the population and females 0 (0.0%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1036 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 721 male, 315 female with 964 (93.05%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 692 males and 272 females. 38 males and 12 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 22 male and 5 female agricultural labor. 72 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bikaner to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
