Kahuta Research Laboratories

From Conservapedia

Kahuta Research Laboratories(KRL) is a nuclear weapons/missle development facility located in Kahuta, Pakistan. The facility is run by the Pakistani government. [1]

Attempts by India and Israel to destroy Kahuta[edit]

In 1979, Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin wrote to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher about the threat that Pakistan's nuclear weapons program poses to Israel. Thatcher gave a cold response, and raised the issue of Israel's nuclear program. [2]

According to researchers Levy and Scott Clark, the Israeli Air Force was going to launch an attack on Kahuta via an airfield in Jamnagar, Gujrat. In March 1984, Indira Gandhi signed off on the operation, but backed out after the CIA leaked the information to the Pakistanis. [3]
