History
Medica was floated on the London Stock Exchange in 2017. It raised £121 million at the stock market launch, giving it a market capitalisation of £150 million.[1]
The firm had an annual turnover of £39 million and declared a pre-tax profit of just over £9 million for FY 18.[2]
Services
Medica provides outsourced interpretation and reporting of MRI scans, CT scans and X-ray images to hospital radiology departments. The technology allows hospitals to transmit diagnostic images to a remote radiologist, based from either their own home or one of Medica's dedicated reporting centres so that the service is always available.[1]
