Advocacy Journalism

From Conservapedia
The elite journalism schools like Columbia University make no bones about preaching the gospel of advocacy journalism. A constant since the 1960’s, when journalists reporting on civil rights and the Vietnam War believed they had a significant influence on these issues, advocacy journalism is being used to this very day to praise the Obama Administration and to formerly discredit the Bush Administration at every turn. Of course, the Bush Administration’s recent missteps and lack of response to the constant drumbeat of criticism did little to quell the negative reporting. Advocacy journalism is also being used to present the theory of global warming as gospel that is already settled science and therefore not subject to dispute.[1]
