Rabbi at Tulchin, Russia; born at Satanov in the first half of the nineteenth century. He was the author of the following works: (1) "Sippurim Nifla'im" (Wonderful Tales), translated from other languages into Hebrew verses (Odessa, 1870); (2) "Rosh Millin" (Beginning of Words), a concise Hebrew-Judæo-German Dictionary (Jitomir, 1872); (3) "Tebusat Abshalom" (The Downfall of Absalom), a tragedy in verse, with a supplement containing a selection of tales, legends, epigrams, etc. (Odessa, 1868).
