Tejpur is a small village of 40.04 hectares in Sagri Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tejpur depends on Bilariaganj (NP, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Tejpur's pin code is 276125[4], and village code is 08614200. The area of Tejpur is segregated as 29.25 hectares irrigated area. the 10.8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
Tejpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bilariaganj (NP and Azamgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
