Vyborg (Russian: Выборг, Finnish: Viipuri) is a city in the Leningrad Oblast in western Russia, the city is located near the Finnish border and on the banks of the Gulf of Finland. The city belonged to Sweden and Finland (Karelia region) in the past and has a population of almost 80,000 (2016).[1]
