Nama is a small village of 454.4 hectares in Iglas Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nama depends on Mursan (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nama's pin code is 202140^[4], and village code is 01406800. The area of Nama is segregated as 454.38 hectares irrigated area.

Nama is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2736 and has total administration over 460 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mursan (NP) and Aligarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
