Tejpur is a small village of 137.1 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tejpur depends on Bharia, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tejpur's pin code is 212404[4], and village code is 05428500. The area of Tejpur is segregated as 70.435 hectares irrigated area, 6.704 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.664 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 10.305 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Tejpur has One post office (Ghiya Ngr S.O). Tejpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Tejpur is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2438 and has total administration over 381 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 440 male, 245 female with 290 (42.34%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 211 males and 79 females. 147 males and 20 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 30 male and 42 female agricultural labor. 395 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bharia and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
