Dr. V G Mohan Prasad is a Gastroenterologist in Singanallur, Coimbatore and has experience of 39 years in this field. He completed MBBS from Madras University, Chennai, India in 1982 and DM - Gastroenterology from Madras Medical College, Chennai in 1987. He is a member of Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Indian Society of Gastroenterology.

He received "Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP)"[5] award at a convocation ceremony on November 13, where President of Royal College of Edinburgh, Prof. Dr Derek Bell. He received "ICONS of Coimbatore 2017"[6] Award by Rathinam Group of Institutions.
