Baseball Cards

From Conservapedia

Baseball cards are a form of trading cards that usually feature a photograph and name of a baseball player and the team he plays for on the front and normally include the players statistics and other information on the back. The cards are often collected as a hobby, especially by young men or boys. The first baseball cards appeared in 1868 when a New York sporting goods store called Peck and Snyder created cards that contained images of baseball players on the front and advertisements for the baseball equipment made by the company on the back.[1] Baseball cards are also sought after for their monetary value which can be found in price guides that are released by Beckett Media in many different formats.[2]
