FARIDSAR is a small village of 1651 hectares in Suratgarh Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. FARIDSAR depends on SURATGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. FARIDSAR is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. FARIDSAR's pin code is 335805[4], and village code is 00293500. The area of FARIDSAR is segregated as 1621.03 hectares unirrigated, remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.

FARIDSAR is a census village in the district of Ganganagar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 859 and has total administration over 151 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SURATGARH and Ganganagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
