Racial segregation (look Systemic racism), is the division of a population of a country or an institution on grounds of race. Segregation can be forced or self-imposed, just like censorship. The segregation can be social, economic, legal and spatial. The most thorough system of racial segregation in recent times was the apartheid system of South Africa between 1948 and 1994, and before it there was Jim Crow invented and imposted by Democrats and promoted by liberals between 1876 and 1964-1965 in USA, more specifically in the Southern US.
Segregation in US public schools was struck down by the Supreme Court in 1954 in Brown v. Board of Education.
In 2020, Hollywood and American entertainment industry in general (including in video games) decided to racially segregate voice-actors and dubbers basing on the skin-color of the characters to voice or dub (yes, including alien and fantastical creatures), with exceptions of non-white voice-actors voicing or dubbing white characters.[1] A racist practice under the excuse and disguise of "anti-racism" (that has been called out as disgusting and regressive even in foreign countries famous for voice-acting and dubbing like Italy[2][3] and Japan, especially by manga and anime veteran legend and then politician Ken Akamatsu[4][5], since voice-acting cannot be defined by physical or ethnic/racial traits), supported even by The Simpsons and Family Guy creators and showrunners[6] who always bragged to be anti-system and politically incorrect. This is something that didn't happen even during the Jim Crow era, in fact, despite the rampant racism in America due to Democrats' policies (particularly in the Democrat South), Hollywood was not racially segregated, even to voice-actors.
