Satnyava is a small village of 1073 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Satnyava depends on kamasen, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Satnyava's pin code is 210125^[4], and village code is 04813500. The area of Satnyava is segregated as 1084 hectares irrigated area, 476 hectares unirrigated area. the 18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 37 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Satnyava is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2807 and has total administration over 485 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 960 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 620 male, 340 female with 435 (45.31%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 397 males and 38 females. 289 males and 17 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 60 male and 7 female agricultural labor. 525 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of kamasen and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
