Satnyava is a small village of 1073 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Satnyava depends on kamasen, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. The area of Satnyava is segregated as 1084 hectares irrigated area, 476 hectares unirrigated area. the 18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 37 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of kamasen and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
