Theia was the elder Titan-goddess of sight and the shining light of heaven in ancient Greek mythology. She was also the goddess who gave gold and silver their glitter and value. With her brother Hyperion she was the mother of Eos (the Dawn), Helios (the Sun) and Selene (the Moon).
