The Missouri Conservation Sales Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 2, 1976 ballot in Missouri as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure increased funding for bird, fish, game, forestry and wildlife programs by levying additional sales and use taxes of 1/8th of 1%.[1][2]
