Christmas Carol (Song)

Christmas Carol is a country Christmas song performed by Skip Ewing. Originally released in 1995 it also made the country charts again in 1998 and 2000.

The singer plays Santa Claus on Christmas Eve when he is approached by a young girl. She says her name is "Christmas Carol" (as she was born on Christmas Day) but has no parents and wishes for a family. The singer tells her that Santa will try, and that she should be good, but away from her line of sight starts crying. The next day, he calls the children's home and arranges to adopt her.
