Transportation Act Of 1920

From Conservapedia

The Transportation Act of 1920 returned railroads into private ownership after World War I era Nationalization by President Woodrow Wilson. The act effectively abolished the United States Railroad Administration, but significantly increased the ICC's power.[1][2]

This act was one of the first progressive-era Grants-in-aid legislative acts designed to erode the states' discretion and bring them under the control of the federal government.
