Fritz Lang

Fritz Lang was a famous Austrian-American film director. He is best known for his films Metropolis, Die Nibelungen, Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler, and M. Many of his early scripts were written by Thea Von Harbou, his wife, who became an ardent nazi supporter. Lang would later divorce her and flee to the U.S. shortly before the war to continue his career.
