Sohai is a small village of 6 hectares in Ramnagar Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sohai depends on Fatehpur (NP) , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sohai's pin code is 225201[4], and village code is 05721300. The area of Sohai is segregated as 55 hectares irrigated area, 4 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 9 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sohai has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sohai is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 468 and has total administration over 82 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 109 (23.29%) males constitute 63 (13.46%) of the population and females 46 (9.83%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Fatehpur (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
