Dalota is a small village of 222 hectares in Khetri Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Dalota depends on NARNAUL (HARYANA), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 86.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Dalota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Dalota's pin code is 332746[4], and village code is 00731600. The area of Dalota is segregated as 86 hectares irrigated area, 99 hectares unirrigated, the 17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Dalota has One post office (Dalota B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Dalota has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Dalota is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1525 and has total administration over 292 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Dalota has 201 children, 105 boys and 96 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 356 (23.34%) males constitute 196 (12.85%) of the population and females 160 (10.49%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 29 (1.90%) males constitute 16 (1.05%) of the population and females 13 (0.85%).

The workforce is 459 male, 395 female with 595 (69.67%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 385 males and 210 females. 175 males and 64 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 25 male and 12 female agricultural labor. 259 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NARNAUL (HARYANA) and Jhunjhunu to sell wood furniture and make their living.
