Iapetus

Iapetus was the Titan-god of mortality and wounding in ancient Greek mythology. With three of his brothers (Coeus, Crius and Hyperion) Iapetus conspired with Cronus to depose their father Uranus. Uranus (the Sky) would descend each night to lie upon Gaia (the Earth), each standing at a corner of the cosmos they held Uranus firm whle Cronus emasculated him with a sickle.
