Fruits

Fruits (French: fruit, German: Frucht, Greek: καρπός, Spanish: fruta, Russian: плод; фрукты) are the edible part of a plant, like apples, grapes, peaches, mulberries, bananas, etc. Fruits, in botany, are that part consisted of ripened ovaries containing the seeds; (e.g.) the tomato and pea pod, are called true fruits (ripened ovaries alone); but not all seeds come from fruits.

Fruits are the primary diet of numerous animals, including the fruit fly, bats, and sloths.

Fruit is often used by the Bible to represent prosperity or production.
