Frisco is a suburb of Dallas, Texas, and is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States.
It is named for the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway (commonly called the "Frisco", now part of BNSF Railway) which runs through the town; the city's logo is the railway's original logo and is used by permission.

The Professional Golfers Association of America announced plans in late 2018 to move its headquarters to Frisco from West Palm Beach, Florida, expected to be completed in 2020.
The NCAA Football Championship Series national championship game is played in Frisco in early January of each year.
Stonebriar Community Church, pastored by Chuck Swindoll, is based in Frisco, along with branch campuses of Gateway Church, Watermark Community Church, and Fellowship Church.
