Marawa is a small village of 100 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Marawa depends on Handia (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Marawa's pin code is 221508[4], and village code is 05564500. The area of Marawa is segregated as 69 hectares irrigated area, 12 hectares unirrigated area. the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Marawa has One post office (Saidabad S.O (Allahabad)). The village is connected with a single bus service. Marawa has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Marawa is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2183 and has total administration over 326 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 663 (30.37%) males constitute 341 (15.62%) of the population and females 322 (14.75%).

The workforce is 493 male, 43 female with 396 (73.88%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 374 males and 22 females. 119 males and 6 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 36 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 140 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Handia (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
