Old Adobe Union School District Bond Proposition, Measure G (June 2012)
From Ballotpedia An Old Adobe Union School District bond proposition, Measure G was on the June 5, 2012 ballot for voters in the Old Adobe Union School District in Sonoma County, where it was approved.[1][2]
Measure G authorized the school district to borrow $26 million. It was estimated that the property tax increase needed to fund repayment of the $26 million bond will be $30 per $100,000 of assessed home value, or about $90 a year on a $300,000 home.
A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for approval.
The Old Adobe District includes:
- La Tecera Elementary School
- Old Adobe Elementary School
- Sonoma Mountain Elementary School
- Miwok Elementary School

Opposition[edit]
The Sonoma County Taxpayers Association opposed Measure G. Daniel Drummond, executive director of the group, said, "None of these improvements came about by surprise. The district should have anticipated the need and made a commitment in their budget."[1]
