Edile

Edile is an open source text editor for Linux, Mac OSX and other unix-like operating systems.[1] Written in the Python programming language. Edile is implemented in a single source code file that can be executed directly with no installation beyond its dependency on PyGTK. The name comes from a contraction of "editor" and "file".
