National Aviation Hall Of Fame

The National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) is a United States government chartered organization based in Dayton, Ohio. It was established in 1962 and is dedicated to honoring the pioneers of American aviation. The NAHF became a chartered organization in 1964.

Enshrinees include astronauts, (Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, etc.), pilots (Charles Lindbergh, Amelia Earhart, etc.), pioneers of aircraft engineering (John Northrop, William Boeing, etc.), and rocket scientists (Werner Von Braun, etc.), among others.

There are six different divisions within the NAHF. These include:

• Early Flight
• WWI
• Golden Age
• WWII
• Jet Age
• Space Age
