Magnum

Magnum refers to firearm cartridge that are either bigger than a similar cartridge or derived from it. Magnum firearms refers to guns that can use magnum rounds.

• .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire - more commonly called .22 Magnum
• .357 Magnum - also called .357 Mag. Used most commonly in the Ruger GP100 and Smith and Wesson Model 686
• .44 Magnum - also called .44 Mag. Used most commonly in the Smith and Wesson Model 29, Smith and Wesson Model 629 and Ruger Redhawk
• .460 Smith and Wesson Magnum
• .500 Smith and Wesson Magnum - more commonly called .500 Smith and Wesson. Used most commonly in the Smith and Wesson Model 500
