Atarora is a small village of 100 hectares in Akbarpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Atarora depends on Akbarpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. The area of Atarora is segregated as 160 hectares irrigated area, 16 hectares unirrigated area. the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.
