Sohagi is a small village of 122.5 hectares in Koraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sohagi depends on Koraon (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply One tankand One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sohagi's pin code is 212306[4], and village code is 05655400. The area of Sohagi is segregated as 51.95 hectares irrigated area, 53.89 hectares unirrigated area. the 3.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sohagi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sohagi is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 272 and has total administration over 45 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 176 (64.71%) males constitute 91 (33.46%) of the population and females 85 (31.25%).

According to a census 2011 report, 144 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 68 male, 76 female with 57 (39.58%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 52 males and 5 females. 33 males and 4 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 17 male. 87 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Koraon (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
