Allgemeines Archiv Des Judenthums

From Jewish Encyclopedia (1906)

Allgemeines Archiv Des Judenthums:

A monthly publication, devoted, as its title indicates, to the general history of the Jews. It was founded and edited by Jeremiah (Jerome) Heinemann, who, prior to its publication in Berlin in 1839, had edited an annual entitled "Jedidiah." From the date of its first issue it appeared irregularly until 1844, when it had reached the middle of its third volume and its publication ceased (Winter and Wünsche, "Jüdische Literatur," iii. 861).
