Bhagata is a small village of 524.1 hectares in Balrampur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhagata depends on BALRAMPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhagata's pin code is 271205[4], and village code is 06625000. The area of Bhagata is segregated as , 524.09 hectares unirrigated area. the 19.9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 19.34 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bhagata is a census village in the district of Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3099 and has total administration over 506 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Balrampur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
