Ucheda is a small village of 256.4 hectares in Rasra Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ucheda depends on Rasra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 100.00% of the total supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Ucheda's pin code is 221701[4], and village code is 09164900. The area of Ucheda is segregated as 195.76 hectares irrigated area, 12.048 hectares unirrigated area. the 14.534 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 34.062 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Ucheda has One post office (Uchera B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Ucheda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Ucheda is a census village in the district of Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2974 and has total administration over 420 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1260 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 777 male, 483 female with 361 (28.65%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 286 males and 75 females. 34 males and 6 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 85 male and 22 female agricultural labor. 899 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rasra (MB) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
