Projection

From Conservapedia

In psychology, projection (or projection bias) is a defense mechanism in which one attributes one’s own unacceptable or unwanted thoughts or/and emotions to others. As an example, some people who harbor perverted sexual thoughts, feelings, and acts speak as if such things are common or even normal and acceptable: "Everybody views pornography!" or "Everybody commits self-abuse!" For an extreme example see homosexuality.
