Kithana is a small village of 2035 hectares in Chirawa Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kithana depends on CHIRAWA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 525.46% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kithana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kithana's pin code is 333028[4], and village code is 00713100. The area of Kithana is segregated as 525.46 hectares irrigated area, 1197.49 hectares unirrigated, the 248.54 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 63.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Kithana has One post office (Kithana B.O) and Ten public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kithana has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kithana is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 6638 and has total administration over 1242 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Kithana has 820 children, 453 boys and 367 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 1024 (15.43%) males constitute 545 (8.21%) of the population and females 479 (7.22%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 125 (1.88%) males constitute 62 (0.93%) of the population and females 63 (0.95%).

According to a census 2011 report, 2794 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1695 male, 1099 female with 2039 (72.98%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1450 males and 589 females. 857 males and 420 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 158 male and 63 female agricultural labor. 755 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of CHIRAWA and Jhunjhunu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
