Manoj Kumar Goswami (Assamese: Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.; born 1962, Nagaon, Assam, India) is a journalist, writer from Assam, India.[3][4] Goswami won Sahitya Akademi Award in 2022 for his book Bhool Satya. He also won Katha award for his book Samiran Barua Ahi Ase.

Journalistic career[edit]

Goswami is the Editor-in-chief of Assamese daily Amor Asom and also Editor-in-Chief of satellite news channel NKTV 24x7.[5] He was also Editor-in-Chief of Assamese daily Ajir Batori[6] Janasadharan[7] and as the editor-in-chief of satellite news channel DY365.[8][9] Goswami also created a documentary Anshu-Everest Calling.[10]

Manoj Kumar Goswami was also one of the team member during the 'VISIT OF PRIME MINISTER DR. MANMOHAN SINGH TO SOUTH AFRICA AND NIGERIA FROM 14-18 OCTOBER, 2007' when he was working as the EDITOR at 'DAINIK JANASADHARAN'- Assamese News Paper.

Literary career[edit]

Goswami's literary career was recognized with the Katha Award for Creative Fiction in 1994, and the Sanskriti Award for Literature in 1996. His works have been translated to other Indian languages and also to English by publications like Penguin. Eminent writer late Khushwant Singh included Manoj Kumar Goswami's short story Xogun(Vulture)[11][12] in his collection 'Our Favourite Indian Stories (2002)' [13]
