Chauka is a small village of 107 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chauka depends on Handia (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Chauka's pin code is 212401[4], and village code is 05562000. The area of Chauka is segregated as 64 hectares irrigated area, 6 hectares unirrigated area. the 19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Chauka has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Chauka is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1639 and has total administration over 223 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 638 (38.93%) males constitute 327 (19.95%) of the population and females 311 (18.97%).

According to a census 2011 report, 519 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 343 male, 176 female with 275 (52.99%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 242 males and 33 females. 84 males and 11 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 72 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 244 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Handia (NP) and Allahabad to sell carpet and make their living.
