Godless Conservative (Oxymoron)

From Conservapedia

"Godless Conservative" refers to faux conservatives who are atheists/agnostics, or who believe in purging spirituality and all references to God from public life. Prominent examples include Jennifer Rubin and Heather Mac Donald.

Historically, the secular religions of atheism/agnosticism/evolutionism have not been commonly held by conservatives and their ethics and ideas concerning origins are not compatible with traditional/conservative religions (see: Atheism is a religion).[1][2] So-called "godless conservatives" often reject various positions held by social conservatives (See also: Social effects of the theory of evolution).[3]

The atheist philosopher of science Michael Ruse said "Evolution is a religion. This was true of evolution in the beginning, and it is true of evolution still today."[4] In the their Question evolution! campaign, Creation Ministries International also points out that evolution is a religion.[5] See also: Evolution as a secular origins myth
