Green Bay, Wisconsin

Green Bay is a town of about 100,000 in Wisconsin, and is located on a bay of Lake Michigan having the same name. The mouth of the Fox River converges there also.

Green Bay is a working-class town best known for its meatpacking, its paper plants, and its famous professional NFL team appropriately named the Green Bay Packers.

During the campaign for the presidential election in October 2016, a reported crowd of 42,000 people turned out to cheer Donald Trump in Green Bay.

Green Bay is also known for its cold winters, having a normal high temperature of only 24 degrees Fahrenheit in January.

To the northeast of Green Bay lies the Door Peninsula. The economy of Door County is partly dependent on tourism.
