Fruits (French: fruit, German: Frucht, Greek: καρπός, Spanish: fruta, Russian: плод; фрукты) are the edible part of a plant, like apples, grapes, peaches, mulberries, bananas, etc. Fruits, in botany, are that part consisted of ripened ovaries containing the seeds; (e.g.) the tomato and pea pod, are called true fruits (ripened ovaries alone); but not all seeds come from fruits.
