National Liberal Party

From Conservapedia

The National Liberal Party in the United Kingdom was formed in 1931 when the Liberal Party split over the issue of whether to support the National Government of Ramsay MacDonald. While a faction led by Sir Herbert Samuel opted to stay out of the government, another led by Sir John Simon entered into the coalition and became known as National Liberals. The National Liberals became increasingly associated with the Conservative Party, and most members joined the Conservatives when the National Liberal party was wound up in 1968.
