The
kiwi fruit is a small
fruit developed in
New Zealand from a
vine that originated in
China. Kiwifruit come in two main varieties; green and gold. Green kiwifruit have
green insides and furry skin, whereas the gold variety has a
yellow flesh, a smooth skin and is sweeter. Kiwifruit is one of the highest natural sources of
vitamin C[1] and has high fibre and
potassium levels.
