Advertising

Advertising is taking a deliberate action to get recognition among a given population group for some purpose. Most advertising is paid for specifically to sell a product or service. Some advertising neither costs money nor produces revenue. As an example, public service announcements warning of the dangers of cigarettes are often run for free result not in more money spent but in healthier and longer lives.
